It only took one visit to the Painted Hills in Eastern Oregon (about 9 miles west of Mitchell) for me to fall in love with the area. Gorgeous color layers against a brilliant blue sky, unexpected combinations, a sunny day and easy access to view it all – what more could you want? Some day I will go back, hopefully when they get what little rain they do so I can see the hills with the pastel/gold colors the information plaques/leaflets stated occur. Unsurprisingly, I took hundreds of pictures and decided to collect a few together to create this 12 month calendar for 2010. This makes a great office gift and will add a spark of color to any drab cubicle or workspace!
